Tiburon Summer Ferry Schedule: 05.12.08 - 10.26.08
Tiburon is a former railroad town (terminus of the Northern Pacific Railroad until 1963) that has been transformed into an authentic New England Seacoast village. Its classic main street offers antique and specialty shops, wonderful restaurants with outdoor seating and spectacular views of San Francisco. Bring your bike along and leisurely tour the shoreline paths or physically challenge yourself on an uphill climb to Mt. Tamalpais.
Don't forget to take the ferry to the Tiburon International Film Festival in March. The Tiburon International Film Festival (TIFF) is an annual event, which seeks to provide a greater understanding of the world and its many cultures through the artistic medium of film, and through the top quality films from around the world. TIFF wishes to enhance tolerance between people of all backgrounds. Its goal is one of cultural enrichment and heightened cultural awareness, and to create a platform for the independent filmmakers to express their talent and vision from any nation. TIFF strongly believes in its motto: "Understanding the World through Film".
Note: For round trip Tiburon excursions, please purchase two (2) one-way tickets. If single ticket were purchased, return tickets are available on board or at the PIER 39 Ticket Booth.
