Festival of Sail Cruise
San Francisco welcomes Tall Ships® from all over the world to the Festival of Sail San Francisco, July 23rd through July 27th. On July 23rd, over 25 beautiful and unique ships will proudly sail under the majestic Golden Gate Bridge and into the Port of San Francisco. The entire waterfront from Aquatic Park, home of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park all the way to AT&T Baseball Park, will be transformed into an international nautical festival celebrating the maritime past, present and future.
Parade of Sail
On Wednesday, July 23 at noon, the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association brings you a very unique opportunity to watch the visiting tall ships and other fascinating vessels sail into San Francisco Bay as part of the breath-taking Parade of Sail, led by the United States Coast Guard Cutter EAGLE. The parade of tall ships will sail from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge and back to their respective berths along the waterfront, where festivities, viewings from land, and boarding opportunities for certain ships await.
In conjunction with the Parade of Sail, Blue & Gold Fleet's 90-minute Escape from the Rock Cruise, departing PIER 39 at 11:30am, will be the perfect opportunity to get close up views of beautiful ships from all over the world. Festival of Sail Cruise
Available everyday between Thursday, July 24th through July 27th, Blue & Gold Fleet brings to you a special Festival of Sail Cruise, departing PIER 39 at 1:30pm. Featuring live narration about all of the tall ships, this special 90-minute cruise will sail to the three Villages: International Village located from Pier 19 to the Ferry Building, Green Village from Pier 30 through Pier 40, and the Marine Educational Village from Pier 43 to the end of Aquatic Park, before returning to PIER 39.
